Google Business Profile
A Google Business Profile is the free listing that shows your business on Google Maps and in local search results.
It carries your name, address, phone number, hours, categories, photos and reviews. It was called Google My Business until 2021 and plenty of people still call it that.
Why it matters to you
For a local business it is usually worth more than the website. It is where the calls, the direction requests and the reviews happen, and it is free.
An example
A profile with the wrong primary category is invisible for the searches that matter most. Changing one field can be the difference between appearing for your main service and not appearing at all.
